A little dressing goes a long way

The recipe for Ginger Miso Dressing was created at one of our restaurants over 10 years ago, as a topping for salads. Since it was home-made with garden-fresh all-natural ingredients, customers loved it and urged us to bottle it so they could enjoy it at home. You can imagine how flattering that was to our chefs!

Our mission became clear: make large amounts of Ginger Miso Dressing that customers can take home and enjoy for several weeks.

That’s the key: balance between fresh ingredients and shelf-life!

Several competing products use dehydrated vegetables, juice concentrates, thickening agents and preservatives to create a longer shelf-life. We felt that to compromise the quality of the ingredients would have a negative affect on the taste and texture of the final product. So we opted out, and stuck with our original recipe!

We feel strongly about using garden-fresh all-natural ingredients which are not only vegan, but are also kosher-certified. Our Ginger Miso Dressings do not include preservatives, thickeners or dyes to extend shelf-life, to create a different mouth-feel or to change the color in any way.

By ensuring the ingredients are balanced we’ve been able to achieve an extended shelf-life the natural way, allowing the Ginger Miso Dressings to maintain their optimal flavor, aroma and texture for nearly 2 months!
